How to attend
The conference fees for 2014 will be set soon.
ASLING is endeavouring to make the conference as affordable as possible to as broad a cross-section of the language transformation community.
The fees shown below were proposed by the previous organizers of the conference and should be seen as indicative ceilings. ASLING is working hard to bring rates down. Final rates (and possibly a revised "early bird" deadline) will be announced as soon as possible.
Once fees have been set, online registration will also open.

VAT is charged at 20%. If your organization is exempt from VAT, you must supply a VAT exemption certificate. If your organization does not have this, we shall have to charge you VAT.
UK VAT is chargeable to non-EU customers on conferences held in the UK. This is because the place of supply for conferences, as per HR Revenue and Customs Notice 741A, it is deemed to be the place where the conference is taking place and is not affected by the VATable status of the customer.
However, there is scope for you to reclaim the VAT that you have been charged within the EU under the 13th EU VAT directive using Form 65A. More details on how to do this.
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, you will be fully refunded with a £100 charge to cover administration costs before 20th October 2014. The full fee will be charged for non attendance or cancellations made after 20th October 2014.
If for any reason outside the control of the conference, the venue or speakers change, or the event is cancelled due to industrial action, adverse weather conditions, or an act of terrorism, the conference will endeavour to reschedule, but the client/delegate hereby indemnifies and holds the conference harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and expenses, including legal fees, which are incurred by the client/delegate. The construction validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by all aspects by the laws of England to the exclusive jurisdiction of whose court the Parties hereby agree to submit.
